Showcase - Talent

Lizzie Wagner-trained models feature in high-fashion glossy magazines, international TV commercials, acting roles and gala fashion parades.

Our actors have presented many corporate training sessions, from mediation to teleconferencing.

Our speakers include -

*

Dr Julian Boulnois (psychiatrist, psychotherapist)

*

John Walker (international actor/presenter who played a lead role in Australian comedy "Full Frontal")

red-headed model

Our students with dancing and singing abilities have featured in national talent quests and some have been signed with record companies.

Most recently one of our production and event talent who performed in Canberra in shopping centre productions and other academy promotions now hosts his own TV show.

We're also very proud of former student model Kylie Watson who played Shauna Bradley (Home and Away,) and Lara Cox who played Anita in (Heartbreak High.) Lara has recently completed a pilot with David E. Kelly, husband of Michelle Pfeiffer and producer of Ally McBeal and The Practice.

You can see some of our students and teachers displayed on the in-store posters nationally on the Canberra Centre TV commercial, Hyperdome TV commercial, Colourbond national TVC, in parades at Woden, Riverside Plaza, Westfield Belconnen and Canberra Centre.

Child talent

We co-ordinate many international artistic crews - from choreographers, stylists, make-up artists, photographers, set, sound and fashion designers - who began as students or talent with the Academy and progressed through our production company, management and contacts.

Recent graduates have taken part in Australian Fashion Week, international TV commercials and many national and international films, photographic, advertorial and editorial for Goldwell, KMS, CT Magazine, and national and international magazines.

"Lizzie Wagner started contributing fashion for the Canberra Times in 2003, co-ordinating and directing fashion features. She went the extra mile on every occasion, producing sparkling, immaculate results with unwavering professionalism. Her work covered the full range from children's fashions to elegant looks for mature women, as well as doing make-overs, beauty stories, and contributing to features on etiquette. She still contributes to various titles within the Canberra Times stable and is somebody I regularly consult when researching stories across a broad spectrum." - Gillian Lord, Senior Journalist, Canberra Times
