Testimonials
I would like to thank you for the highly informative
and fun Image Update Workshop I attended last
weekend.
I especially enjoyed the powerful yet relaxing
visualisation meditation session at the conclusion
of the workshop.
I would like to thank you very
much for the opportunity to parttake in the
Image Update Workshop this past weekend. I thoroughly
enjoyed myself and gained a lot out of it.
Your team consists of inspirational and talented
women and what you teach is truly life-changing.
I had the opportunity to practice
my new etiquette skills straight after the Sunday
session at a cocktail party 21st. Despite struggling
a bit with balancing plate, napkin, fork and
glass (I am in awe at how gracefully Mrs Wagner
does it!), I could see and feel the effect of
my deportment straight away. It was amazing!
Within 5 mins of arriving, 3 people commented
on how tall I looked! Throughout the evening
I also received many comments on how good my
legs looked and felt the difference in how people
responded to me.
Just this one night showed me how powerful the
knowledge you have shared is. I am grateful
for that.
I also very much look forward
to implementing the other tips and regimes discussed
and am excited about this new development in
my life.
Your team and what you do is fantastic, and
I believe every one needs to do one of these
courses!

A speech by one of our students,
Kelsey Rourke.
Good Evening, my name is Kelsey.
Before coming to the Lizzie Wagner Acadamy, I
knew that nail polish went on your nails, wash
your hair everey 2-3days and nothing about make-up.
During the course over the last 4 days, I have
had an amazing learning curve. Some of the things
that I have learnt were; That there is a 12-stroke
method to remove make-up on your face and neck.
The reason for this method is that the direction
that you wipe is to help defy the laws of gravity.
The very first time I ever had make-up on, let
alone a full face, was on Tuesday. Although I
only had to do half of my face, because Miss Vanessa
Risti had used me as a model. However, yesterday
and this afternoon, I actually had to do my whole
face, with a little help from Miss Vanessa Risti.
Ithought looking after your hair would be a very
simple thing, but thanks to Danny and Daran from
the Gallery, Ihave learnt that there are a lot
more steps to care for your hair. for starters,
there are a lot of different types of hair, each
different type has it's own individual care and
stylijng routines. Also, that people should always
wash their hair twice with shampoo and once with
conditioner. With the hair lesson, I learnt about
washing my hair, how to straighten really curlly
hair, put velcro rollers in straight hair and
put curls in straight hair using a straightener.
I thought that acrylic french nails would be very
easy to take care of, I was however proved wrong
when Miss Vanessa Risti showed me an easy 10 step
manicure, that i could do myself. Thios manicure
was quick and easy, also a huge amount better
for my nails. I know this because I have once
before had acrylics on. I had them for 2 months
and I thought they were really good. However,
when they came off, my real nails were really
weak and I didn't have a clue what to do with
them. Now all that's changed, and I'm now able
to give myself a manicure whenever I want.
These past 4 days I have learnt so many things
that I can use in the future. So, I personally
give a great big thanks to all of the teachers
for changingme and giving me ideas that I acn
now use.
I don't think you would want this part but it's
here any way.
Well, without further a do, you can now see the
Smart day wear selection.
i hope you enjoy Europe. I will surely miss you
and Miss Risti.
In case you don't know who it is, it is...
...Kelsey Rourke (aka MM)!

Confidence. It's the most important tool anyone
can have. To walk into a crowded room full of
strangers and still hold your head high as though
you belong there, is confidence. Confidencee can
be simplified to eye contact and smiling.
Before I came to the Lizzie Wagner Group, I would
walk with my shoulders hunched forward and my
eyes focused intently on the ground ahead. if
anyone made a snide comment about me, I took it
to heart. Now, thanks to Lizzie, I can walk tall
and proud with my eyes looking forward. I can
accept compliments graciously, and let the rest
simply slide off.
When the idea for a modelling workshop was first
put before me, I thought; "Why on earth would
I want to do a modelling workshop? Models are
just coathangers with legs." My train of
thought on models was aburptly stopped. While
I may not go into the modelling industry, the
confidence in which a model holds herself is more
appealing than the fashion to me.
Lizzie confronted me with the idea of what I would
face going beack to school walking like a sophistocated
young lady, instead of the shy teenager who just
wanted to make it to 3:30. The person I used to
be. Lizzie said that people would call me a snob
because I went to that Modelling School. Ordinarily,
I would have taken being could a snod to heart.
but when I go back next week I simply plan to
say: "Yes. I did. So what? You didn't."
Lizzie looked a little shocked when I told her
that. "Where has that shy, quiet girl gone?
This is a beautiful young lady who's not afraid
of anything." Thanks to me time spent with
the Lizzie Wagner Group, I can now claim that's
who I am.
Finding your confidence is a mighty hard struggle.
Unfortunatly, no one can do it for you. It's something
you have to do all by yourself. Luckily though,
Lizzie was there to forcefully push me in the
right direction. It all comes down to whether
you want to do it, or not.
Anything and everything can be acheived through
confidence, self-esteem and a smile. The things
I will acheive in life can be graciously attributed
to Lizze and her teams efforts. I now have the
confidence to see what I want and go for it. I
have the self-esteem to tell myself "I am
beautiful" and mean it.
James Barrie said that "Dreams do come true.
We only have to wish hard enough." My time
spent with the Lizzie Wagner Group was the 'hard
enough' in my wishing.

Thank you for the wonderful training session
- we certainly enjoyed the
course, we have not stopped discussing everything
you shared with us! I
have had some wonderful feedback, particularly
about the beauty tips and
social graces information, the ladies really felt
your advice was valuable.
Just want to say thank you very much for the
training and advice that you provided. I am so
glad that I came to you and followed your suggestions.
The hair alone has made such a difference - I
feel like a new person!
I make a conscious effort to walk tall and to
remember your points on posture - and it certainly
helps me hold my head up high. I also remember
your point about accepting complements gracefully
- this is especially relevant given the number
of compliments I have received on my "new
look".
I will be seeing Mel from time to time for regular
hair maintenance, and I hope to contact you again
soon to ask if Kelsey can fit me in for another
shopping trip.
Please convey my sincere thanks to Kelsey and
Mel as well. You've put together a fantastic team.

Your presentation truly made a difference to
my staff and the three PA's who work with me have
all made a great effort to take on many of your
points and ideas around presenting yourself in
a professional manner.

Thank for giving us such a wonderful class on
Tuesday. It was so inspiring and we had lots of
fun. We all can find some sort of true colors
on our potential side which we might miss out
before. You are charming, elegant and funny. It
is really worthy to spend time with you.
I personally want to thank you for giving me
so much courage to become a successful and independent
woman. As a migrant, I did find it is a bit hard
to survive in the foreign country. But when I
see you, such a good example of being a happy
and charming person, I'm so encouraged to became
confident and to find my true color:)
Hope this email will go to your "Dream box"
and wish we can see you again in the future.

Thankyou for speaking at our Public Sector EA/PA

Comments from delegates regarding your session:

see her!”

not just at work but as a woman”

Once again, thankyou for the time and effort
you put into presenting at the event – it
is much appreciated.
You probably wont remember me but my parents
enrolled me into one of your deportment holiday
programs back in 1998. Wow...I was so young. I
was the little dancer (I think i was 13yrs old),
who opened our graduation ceremony with a solo
dance to Wannabe by the Spice Girls. Believe it
or not I still remember the dance. I am 24 years
old now and yes I am still dancing. I graduated
in 2002 and have been successfully running my
own dance studio since then.
I looked you up out of the blue and it is so
great to see that you are continuing your work
with the same enthusiasm and professionalism that
I was lucky enough to receive 10 years ago. And
from your pictures, I have to say, you are still
as lovely as I remember. You very much helped
shape the person that I am today and looking back,
I am extremely grateful that my parents put me
through your course.
